I have been actively training and creating a career pathway for these entry-level workers throughout New Jersey. I led a talent development center at Rutgers University, State of New Jersey, funded through the State Department of Labor and workforce development grant funds. We trained several job seekers, placed them through the registered apprenticeship program, and created a progressive career pathway. These pathways helped them to progress not only in their career but also in their higher education goals.
